Multitask Recruitment Solutions have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Operative to work on finishing department for our client based in Calder Vale. Own transport would be advantageous due to location. Shifts: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm Friday 7:30 am-12:30 pm Pay: £10.42 per hour. Pay rise after training period. Role: Repair and sewing by hand of textile product. Operators of semi-automatic machinery and transportation of product. Quality control and inspection of product, logging key information into computerised (touch screen) system. Due to the nature of the work, a level of manual dexterity is required. Once trained, most work days are split between sitting and repairing textile product, and standing operating machinery. Some lifting required. Requirements: Ability to work well in a small team. Maintain a strong work ethic in a fast-paced and varied role with some heavy lifting. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Willingness to learn new skills. Have attention to detail for QC checks and repairs. Ability to work to quality and performance targets. Must be able to read and write in English.
